Hi, I am Susan Decker, thank you for visiting my website.  I have been a freelance illustrator for over 20 years.  In addition to freelance illustration, I am currently working as a full-time faculty member at North Central Texas where I have taught Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, and Nutrition and Health for over 20 years.  I have also written and illustrated the Biology and Anatomy & Physiology lab manuals for North Central Texas College.

 

Education:

Bachelor's in Fine Arts with a minor in Biology from University of North Texas in May 1993.

EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) Certification from North Central Texas College - June 1996.

Master of Biomedical Illustration from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas - June 2002.

Received Certificate of Merit Award - Association of Medical Illustrators - June 2000
